Ordior is pleased to announce it is partnering with Planet Blue Pictures to secure the restoration and release of iconic Australian film Director Christopher McCullough’s archive of films.

Born in Australia, Chris directed an extensive body of work, mainly documentaries including The Australian Way, Road Lore, Vision For A New World, The Burning Piano: A Portrait of Patrick White, Paddington Lace. He received the Australian Film Institute Award Best Educational Film.

Chris McCullough’s feature Adventures in the Reef was produced in 1975, an adventure story about a boy and his scientist father who fly to Fiji to investigate a parasitic starfish on the reef. They unknowingly get caught up with a national mining syndicate which is deliberately seeding the reef with the starfish in an attempt to destroy environmental objections to their mining.

Ordior will be working the Australian Government, Planet Blue Pictures and Australian Film Archives to restore, distribute and protect these unique and iconic Australian films. Updates will be posted to the Planet Blue Pictures website at www.planetbluepictures.com
