The AI Revolution in Music: 50,000 Tracks a Day Hit Deezer as 97% of Listeners Can’t Tell Human from Machine

19th Nov 2025

November 2025 | The music world is witnessing a seismic shift. According to new data released by Deezer, over 50,000 fully AI-generated tracks are now being uploaded to the streaming platform every single day a staggering leap from the 30,000 figure recorded in September.

The acceleration is astonishing: 10,000 AI tracks in January, 20,000 by April, and now 50,000 daily uploads signalling a new creative era that is transforming how music is made, distributed, and consumed.

Even more remarkable? 97% of listeners say they can’t tell the difference between songs made by humans and those created entirely by artificial intelligence.

“What we’re seeing is not just technology evolving, it’s creativity being redefined,” says Alka Verma, Strategy & Strategic Planning Officer for Ordior Media.

“This isn’t about replacing the artist; it’s about expanding the boundaries of expression. AI is the new instrument; it’s up to us to decide how to play it.”

Deezer’s proprietary AI detection system, launched earlier this year, was designed to monitor the growing influx of synthetic tracks. But the latest figures highlight that AI-generated content isn’t just a novelty anymore; it’s becoming a dominant force in the global music ecosystem.

For labels like Blue Pie Records, DJ Central, and Ordior, this surge presents both an opportunity and a challenge. As millions of AI tracks enter the market, ensuring ethical use, transparent rights management, and fair royalty distribution has never been more critical.

“AI-generated music raises essential questions about ownership and value,” adds Reilly. “At ORDIOR, we’re developing frameworks that protect artists while allowing innovation to flourish. The goal is to balance to ensure creators, whether human or AI-assisted, are credited and compensated fairly.”

With AI now capable of composing symphonies, rap verses, and ambient soundscapes in minutes, the conversation is shifting from if to how the industry adapts. For every new track generated by code, there’s a human story behind it: the producer, the coder, the visionary shaping a hybrid future where creativity and computation coexist.

As this new frontier unfolds, Blue Pie Productions, DJ Central, and Ordior Media remain committed to driving innovation that empowers artists, protects rights, and ensures that the soul of music, whether human or machine-made, continues to inspire the world.
