China loves the Eastside Boyz! Ordior working with TENCENT to sprout a new hip hop fanbase!

As the title suggests, The Eastside Boyz are rising to a new level of stardom in China! We have TENCENT to thank for this – Ordior’s partner, they’ve worked alongside us to help get the music we support distributed into the greener pastures of all-new Chinese markets.

Our streaming numbers have indicated something interesting… China is on a bit of a hip hop binge lately! They’re loving The Eastside Boyz, as well as DL Down3r, Zya Mou, and even Barry Crocker, but we’ll come back to that in a series of future articles… As far as the Boyz go, the KINGS OF CRUNK reign supreme. The Eastside Boyz are one of those hip hop groups that have earned the elusive status of “permanent classics”. You probably recognise most of their work from the late 90s and early 2000s, and even hearing their name might take some readers back! Either way, it seems China is discovering some vintage work, or is indulging in nostalgia – very relatable in times such as these. But nostalgia isn’t all there is on offer. The Boyz have left their mark on the modern musical world too, with hits such as GETTEM, the promo they did with the Atlanta Falcons!

With hits such as these and many more now finding new life on the internet, it’s important that The Eastside Boyz have their rights protected. This is what Ordior is working hard towards. In this digital age, services like Ordior are here to make sure that the classics can transition properly into the new world of music! Now, any of the Boyz’s royalties that would otherwise become lost or unclaimed will now be delivered to their deserving hands and to the hands of the rights holders, and any copyright or rights management disputes that crop up will be managed with care and precision. That’s the Ordior way – a methodology that hits like these definitely deserve. But if the hits on display so far haven’t sold you on why China is going nuts over the Boyz yet, perhaps PULL UP will enlighten you?

Including a cameo by MC Breed, this particular track wasn’t always a single. Indeed, most people would know it from the Greatest Hits album!

This album features a whopping 17 tracks of throwbacks and good times for the crunk court. Time to bow down – your kings of crunk have returned! But that’s not right… because really, they never left! All the better for us. And if you REALLY need more, so much more that you might go BERSERK if you gotta wait any longer… well, click here. And enjoy the goodness that awaits any fans of good music worldwide! China’s fallen in love with them for a reason, after all!
